Covid-19 and the end of another silly season

Another silly season that came to an end. Although clouded by the Covid-19 pandemic which insists to stay, this holiday season had allowed many of us to enjoy the so wanted and well-deserved rest.

We now face a new beginning, which despite being different from what we were used to, should start to allow us to return to some habits we lost due to the pandemic and which we miss so much.

Although the relief of restrictive measures, and with most of the Portuguese population vaccinated, Covid-19 pandemic is still a reality that we all have to continue to deal with. Being well prepared to continue to contribute to stop the spread of the virus remains an imperative to protect ourselves and others.

We know that we still have a long way to go before we definitively overcome this context, and it has become obvious that new challenges will be part of our ´new normal´ from now on.

Wherever at work, at school or in our social life, it is essential to stay vigilant and continue with the precautionary measures we´ve implemented in recent times.

Individual care such as hygiene, respiratory etiquette and social distancing are to be maintained. The port of mask, despite uncomfortable for some, remains the best ally against the spread of the virus and its use remains mandatory. Make sure you always comply with all the mandatory safety measures in place in order to feel more comfortable and prepared for this new return.

At ServDebt we are not an exception. With the progressive return to the office, we remain highly focused on maintaining and complying with all safety standards and requirements.

Trust is part of our DNA but it doesn´t hurt to remind each one's duty to ensure strict compliance with the safety measures implemented over this year and a half, despite the desire to return quickly to the old normal´. Whether in a simple coffee or in a strategic meeting, our mission is to keep in mind that safety comes first and keeping ourselves safe is with no doubt a differentiating factor in this fight.

September is about to end with the expectation of a "return to the normality". With 85% of the population vaccinated with at least one dose of the vaccine, some restrictions and limitations are coming to an end, but especially, we carry the hope that everything will come back to normal soon.

Don't forget to keep protecting yourself and all around you! Stay safe!
