Servdebt participated in the 13th NPL Europe 2023 conference hosted by Smithnovak. The conference took place at the Pullman London St Pancras hotel on March 30th and 31st.

It featured more than 20 sessions with over 100 panellists, who discussed the latest trends and developments in the European non-performing loans transactions market.

Rafael Paim, Head of Underwriting Iberia at Servdebt, shared his insights on the Portuguese NPL market and the opportunities for sellers and buyers. “We are in a period of some uncertainty, and the impacts of the new economic reality must and are being incorporated into Servdebt's models for evaluating and predicting future portfolio performance. Portugal has been a resilient market and has consistently offered one of the best returns in the various NPL asset classes for investors, and the expectation of all players is that it will remain a very attractive market.” Paim said.

The 13th edition of NPL Europe attracted more than 400 delegates from over 200 companies, including major international funds, banks, servicers, advisors and technology companies.
